Pepper Tofu Stir Fry – Vegetarian/Vegan

A tofu stir fry with peppers that is rich and flavourful. Serves: 2 Preparation: 30-40 mins Cooking time: 10-20 mins Type: Vegan, Vegetarian, Halal, Kosher pareve, salt free (if using liquid aminos) Ingredients: 800g (1.7lb) tofu pack, 10 tbsp olive oil, 4-6 tbsp soy sauce/liquid aminos, 1 tsp ginger powder, 2 tsp garlic powder.

    Thats a lot of olive oil, I can just about cook that tofu without any at all ( water spritz bottle), then you stay within fat eating range and it tastes a whole lot better. Yet that still looks pretty tasty.

    This recipe is too simple for my liking…I want a marinade that is so delicious that I forget that I’m eating tofu…This one just doesn’t do it for me.

    soy huh.. stuff kinda looks like poop, but i want to try out a vegitarian diet for expiramental purposes.. hopefully i will get a cold with in the first week and then go back to eating meat and laugh at the vegitarians

    this is probably the worst video i have ever seen in my entire life. total waste of 8 minutes. Also, the food looks awful at the end. Horrible music to add…

    This contains about 2 minutes of useful information lengthened into 8 minutes and 30 seconds…
    Plus, the maker of the video must be retarded because they cut the peppers and mixed them by hand before adding them into the stir fry…. Also, ever heard of a frying pan?

    Your comment is going to lack credibility to others because you think it’s ok to call each others a retard. I didn’t use a pan because the only pan in my house is used for meat. Also, I will continue to pix any peppers with my hands in future, just because it seems to annoy you so much.

    You can always mix it in with some noodles. :) Chinese noodles are particularly yummy and less filling than spaghetti, not to mention they cook a lot quicker! :)

    I did something similar, except I added broccoli, cauliflower, large beans, celery, & cucumbers. I also added some lemon juice to give it a little bit more taste.

    I also served it with brown rice, which added a little bit more flavor to it.

    Good recipe though!
