Oh, my gosh. I loved this video. It was great!! Thanks for posting it!
Awesome! Just Awesome!
whats wrong with milk disscuss.i lived and worked on a dairy and the thing that i saw was < in order to get milk from cows u must of coarse take away the little cowlets…so is killing the babys the reason … or is there more?
and in reality u dont have to kill u can raise them on powder milk costly but no death..most farmers however just ship them off to the market for dog food…meaningless death is forgiveable only through understanding what one has done
My doctor advised me to go for a medical exam when she found out I’d been vegan for 11 years and I passed with flying colours. I think she was a bit prejudiced but I thought, “Better to be safe than sorry.”
I love this video! Less stereotypes for us veggies
The average dairy cow lives 7 years, they have a life expectancy of 25 years. The conditions at factory farms, where most milk is from, are deplorable. The dairy cows are artificially inseeminated to increase milk production, then after 2 weeks the calfs are taken away and chained up for 4 weeks, then are sold as veal.
It’s not just that a mother cow has her calf taken witin 24 hours after birth. Milk is just unhealthy, even without all the hormones and anti-biotics in it. However it is still a personal decision and I do not feel differently towards someone because they chose a different diet to me.
‘Cause meat is an adict, it kills you slowly!
I’m a vegetarian. And thanks for that! : )
i have a question for author of this video.
Do you have any evidence for example any researches that were done and would completely or at least partially justify your contradicting to these myths?
heck yah!
i hate people who flame us… I am not pushy with people, its my beliefs, but i find that lots of meat lovers like telling me how stupid i am. thanks for this awesome video!
You can find references to TONS of research studies showing justification to every single vegetarian myth contradiction in the two following books by John Robbins (son of Baskin-Robbins founder): Diet for a New America, and The Food Revolution.
B-12 is supplimented in soy drinks (and other non-dairy), as well as juices. Furthermore, 1/4 cup of Nutritional Yeast gives you 130% of your B-12. Calcium: dairy leeches it from your bones and also only has a 30% retention. The worst plants have is 35%, and don’t leech from your bones. Protein comes from nuts and beans, and are much healthier sources of protein, as they don’t have cholesterol, low if any sat. fats and fiber (unlike meat). All info is readily available if you just look.
Very great Video, thanks a lot!
Today is World Vegans Day, greetings and wishes to all vegans vegetarians and animals. Greatings to to evryone, who truly thinks about this topic and doesnt just flame out of guilt!
This makes me proud to be a vegetarian.
i have been a vegetarian for 28 years, i can attest to the health benefits. i became vegetarian at 13 years of age. i am also a Registered Nurse and see the effect a meat based diet has on my patients- obesity, stroke, heart attack, cancer, diabetes, and now research is linking a meat based diet to alzhiemers disease.
For me the most important reason to go vegetarian is to NOT contribute to the suffering, to put an end to the cruelty and agony.
you are so right! If world champion bodybuilders like Bill Pearl could get enough protein and olympic athletes e.g Carl Lewis could then so can the rest of us…
